Really enjoy all your banter and opinions, one of the few reasons I ever come here. I really like your info on betting, etc. Really makes me think as I wager, etc. Thanks and start a blog someday, would be beyond interesting.

Feeling very sad. Tony is choosing a very lonely path. I have supportive friends and family that are there for me unconditionally. Only when putting myself in his shoes can i see it this way. With nobody to share it with life is without purpose.

Actually, Cutter, you seem to me to be very much a stand up guy. This forum seems to be based on people who live and breathe by numbers, obviously. I work in a people business, so I live and breathe that side of the street.

Hi Cutter: As a professional gambler, you apparently live for the math and seek that slight edge, which you exploit. My profession operates on a completely different type of paradigm -- which is probably as foreign to you as all this extended math is to me. I was always at the 99th percentile in math in any standardize testing, and a lot of the discussions that go on at RTP fly right past me. It is not like I could not understand it, just that I no longer think in those terms much anymore. I get that people (like my own son, for instance) who deal with areas like math and statics probably see my profession as dealing in a lot bullshit, but I totally believe in the arena in which I work in much the same way you believe in yours. And ... that is why guys like you do what you do and guys like me do what I do.

You might notice that I am consistent in what I say about Tony. I do not absolve him of what he says and does, but I do understand the factors about him which help produce the stuff that makes watching him so compelling. I have not been following Tony's exploits nearly as long as some others. However, I totally understand that trying to affect change in him is, in one person's words, like trying to drill through rock with water ... one drip at a time!

Anyway, looks like we'll be having more fun reading for at least the immediate future.
