Earlier in the season I was curious how home dogs were fairing overall. I noticed that the road favorites were covering at a pretty substantial rate. I'm sure this isn't news to some of you, but I found it interesting.
Since the beginning of the season road favorites have gone 228-184 (55.3%).
Since the beginning of December they have gone 168-125 (57.3%)
Since the beginning of January they have gone 89-63 (58.6%)
I thought those were surprising numbers and started playing every road favorite, in the beginning of January. I used 3 different sets of numbers and made 1,2 and 3 star plays , if one of the ratings agreed with the play (1 star) etc etc.
This is how they broke down.
3 star plays 31-19 (62%)
2 star plays 32-27-1 (54.2%)
1 Star plays 26-17-1 (60.5%)
I felt that the sample size was large enough to have some merit, or do you guys think I'm all wet?
