View Full Version : How did you do this year?

I've been hearing from a lot of others that they had much worse years this year than previous years. I've been disappointed with my own results as well. Although it wasn't a disaster (knock on wood with the Super Bowl coming), and humbly, I'd say some others may have been happy with my results if they were theirs, my performance hasn't been nearly as good as previous years.
I'm wondering how it went for others.

Do you want me to copy and paste the spreadsheet?

one of the best ever in NFL and College football for myself, I dont see how anyone sharp didn't have a good football year. Maybe the dinosaurs that haven't changed their ways didn't fair so well, but the new breed of handicappers that have evolved had to kill it this year.

My results are the same. For some reasons they always seem to match yours even though our methodologies are fairly different.
But yeah, like you say some people would be happy with the income. Even I don't so much have a problem with the amount of money I've made relative to the amount of work I've done. It's just the risk/reward ratio (or ROI or whatever you want to call it) that seems pathetic and makes me worry that this is not worth it.
Actually though, unlike last year which went similarly (made a little more money last year, but was similar in the sense that I had a huge win streak to start the season and huge losing streak from mid-season on). Unlike last year, though, I am very confident right now. Last year I felt lost and uncertain. This year I have plenty of other signs which all indicate my bets are solid and I'm just running a little bad. Slowly it's turning around, and hopefully this will continue :-)

CFB killed me, so obviously different results there. But yeah, far and away my best NFL season straight betting. Even with the underperformance of teasers, I think I still had my best NFL season. If teasers were just average, it would have been a home run.
