According to the chart posted by Billions Poker near the bottom of page 2, Patrik has been extraordinarily lucky so far. Am I reading that chart right?

War is right durrr is running above expectation and PA below.

As close as the match seems to be playing the luck factor might be what decides it.

What a surprise....the big winner online is crushing the pretty boy tournament funded by others guy. Never would have expected that!

Are you sarcastic or confused or both? Pretty boy Antonius is winning despite running bad in all-in confrontations.

You'd be right in most instances but you have Antonius pegged wrong. Last I knew he is a big winner online. He is also beating Durr in their contest.

This was annoying. Based on this post I actually believed durrrr had turned it around and told one or two others he was now winning.

The only poker post of Fezzik's that I have ever believed is the one in which he said that he sucks.

Fezz,

How about some Heads Up play, mano-a-mano? 5 bucks, 10 bucks, 25 bucks, 100 bucks, whatever you like, I'm looking to improve my game too. Plus it'd make for a good show. Pokerstars?

I don't get what the problem is. They are barely halfway through. Why aren't they playing more?

This is kind of ending with a whimper. (http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/durrrr-vs-antonius)

Is a result like this over 38000 hands HU enough to conclude anything about their relative abilities?

PLO has a higher standard deviation than NLHE. About 50% higher. My guess is that we can conclude that it's about 80% likely that durrrrr is the better player. But please don't ask me to show my work. This is just a guess.

Last I checked, though, jungleman is crushing durrr in the second challenge match.

Upon further review, it may be as likely as 90% that durrrr is the superior player, or at least that he has played superior poker over their match. I'm going to say that it's 80% - 90% likely that durrrr has played better poker. I don't know how volatile their play has been compared to normal people. I assume that they are both so aggressive and that they're willing to play deep that their variance is larger than someone like, say, me. But, I don't know how much higher. For purposes of this calculation, I gave them a standard deviation of 200BB/100 at the minimum or 300BB/100 at the maximum. This is higher than my HU PLO standard deviation of 160BB/100.

so is the challenge over? can anyone give a high level summary of what happened and why they're not playing to 50k hands?
