View Full Version : Wake Forest: Why Do I Fall For This Everytime?

RTP has Perp, Custer, and Chap.

Abraham, Martin, and John. Manny, Moe, and Jack. Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Head, thorax, and abdomen.

Not a good record, so far.

Fezz shows up early (God only knows why) to pump Wake Forest. I have no idea why, other than Dr. Bob.

It's a horrible pick. Cleveland State had me from hello. The game is decided within 30 seconds of the opening tipoff.

I worry about the Las Vegas Tuesday afternoon meetings at Danny's On The Turnpike. I recognize the importance of Sharp self-congratulatory circle jerks of the "best and the brightest" sustaining genius and admiring each other.

But could the "best and the brightest" occasionally post a winner? RTP needs a winning day. Nobody is wealthy enough to afford RTP advice much longer..

RTP could turn into RIP.

I posted that I was on the Vikings +8.5 here at RTP before tipoff.

And fwiw, I piled on some more after they were up 3-0 lol.

For the record, the Dannys Tavern, Bait and Tackle group had some
pretty good info this week and Wake was not a play that was even
a majority opinion from what I recall. I think that was one that some
latched onto afterwards. Overall the projection of games moving was
fairly accurate. That may not sound like much to come out of there with
but it is the primary benefit. Knowing what to bet and when is strong.

Attempting to beat WA numbers is not the path to success and that is
why you don't see the effort to post much of that here. It's just not what
most of the players here do. Touts play into WA, full-time bettors
are annoyed if they end up with a bet at the WA line. A winning player
will push a number of games others lose and win a number of games
others push. It may annoy the WA guys but that's the way it's done.

Impressive is not going 7-3 vs WA numbers in day 1 of the NCAAs.
Show your ticket on Gonzaga -11.5, UN 164 Rad/NC and N Dak St +10.5
and you get the gold star. Losers like Butler +3 are still a better
indicator that someone is on the ball then having a Siena +2 ticket
to wave around. It may annoy the WA guys but that's the way it is.
Doesn't make for good radio, good tout write-ups or good message
board material but it makes for good results at the end of the week.

I had 2 NDST +11 tickets.

Everyone calm down, 1 shitty pick ....it's not like Duke lost where we would be in the Jerrys Nugget Tent City.

Football is coming. And I am already beginning my work. JJ, will give you a few totals offline in Sept, and we will get that money back ASAP.

I also went down the path of Wake Forest

On a happier note, I put in a nice chunk on Cleveland St at an MGM casino for a middle shot on the second half, was not able to get the other side in before tip-off.

Fezz..

I should have played those Kings.

You should have played Cleveland State.

Mistakes are made.

The Sharp posters could have made up any line they wanted. The bets were so bad, they would have been slaughtered.
