Super bowl bet I made.

Not available now, but I bet Pittsburgh -6.5 -109 last night. I'm not sure if this was a good idea, as I hope it doesn't get in the way of good Pit ml's I'm sure will be everywhere in town. Even Cutter's 220 blows away my bet. But it will close good, and is a winning bet IMO.

Yeah well, if you bet on credit it's more defensible. If not, um, yeah, bad bet imo.

I even passed betting this type of thing on credit because:
a) I'm reasonably confident, but probably not as confident as you in the direction of the line movement

and

b) (and this is the biggie), if I'm planning to scalp out with good AZ point spread numbers in town, that means tying up extra money on AZ point spread which could be used on props. Doesn't seem like the best use.

So yeah, this is the one time of year, when I really don't bet stuff with cash (and sometimes not even on credit), even if I'm sure I can scalp it.
