What chalk? I'm long on the dogs, specifically Memphis and Gonzaga, short on UNC, and don't like any of the chalk picks. The bet sizes don't mimic perfectly what I'd actually bet since I'm constrained by 1, 2, and 3 units to win on minus odds or to risk on plus odds, plus without a Pinnacle account I didn't spend much time on that, but the bets are internally consistent enough there isn't really any contradiction.

Callling a fade of the 4 #1 seeds (plus Syracuse and Nova) "chalk" sounds like one for the Wha? Guy. Pinnacle's margin is low enough that if you think such bets are "not possibly +EV" you should probably mention which team you believe to be underpriced in Pinnacle's markets.

Things like that happen when you're limited to a specific range of bet sizes and you have correlated bets, most notably the smallest amount you can bet is to win 1 unit. I eagerly await mocking your -10 unit result when the Super Bowl finally goes to OT.

You might have a point if that wasn't essentially two losing picks. (UNC not to win and Uconn not to win the West accounts for all but 1 unit of that.) 0-2 fading the pretournament favorite and the West region favorite, whoopdy do.
