Apologies to Kris Kristofferson.
But as I pull up my Sunday edition of the Las Vegas Review-Journal on the Information SuperHighway, I am met with the message, "Technical Difficulties." They posted no links to their articles in their Sunday morning Las Vegas newspaper this morning.
Conspiracy theorist and cynic that I am, I wonder why.
Maybe it really is just "technical difficulties." But with all the stories out there about the nation's major newspapers losing revenue because they can't figure out how to monetize Internet content, it's kinda worrisome. (A Sunday copy of The New York Times now costs more than a share of their common stock.)
Could be just a trial balloon Sunday to see if point-of-sale "sales" pick up if the same content is not offered for free on the Web?
Or it could actually be "techincal difficulties."
