I mean really.

This site has to be an embarrassement to the sharps who invented it.

I tried, but nobody posts here but me..

The Sharps who claim to moderate the site are so afraid to posts picks daily and be held accountable, the site has nothing. RTP is like every other site. "Respect us for what we say we do, not what we can document and produce"

Otherwise, using sharp genius to criticize Las Vegas books is just misplaced gambling self-importance. We can do that everywhere. "Nobody is as smart as we are!" It's the last vestige of LVA LVHCM1 moderator glory.

So, if you're going to have a site, you can't just tell the posters about your genius.

You have to pick and document. and that's the hardest genius cut of all.

(Any wonder I get banned from every site? LOL?)

When did I ever claim to be sharp?

How about giving us a little time to gain a foothold. Lots of good people stop by everyday if not to post, than to look. Would I prefer more activity? Of course. Still, we've only been here about a month.

I don't think you'll be kicked out of RTP, though I've been wrong before.

Oops, I guess that leaves only me in the line of fire.

Some HT plays up today if anyone's interested.

I've been posting across the way.
Maybe it's time to pony up a few plays here, soon.

In their defense, I will say that it is difficult for pro players to post their action. People who do this for a living are going to shop for the best lines, which after one bet are going to get wacked down to or near market prices. You also run into the issue of sharing information and then getting beat to a bet because of it. It may not be hard to post 1 +EV play a night, but its not going to be the best bet of the days portfolio, and the results won't be incredibly impressive. Positive? Maybe...Especially difficult to do this time of year when the major sports are NBA, NCAA basketball, and NHL, which are considerably smaller markets than football.

I guess the real question you might want to ask is, is the purpose of this forum to show and share +EV bettors and their plays, or just to have a sportsbetting forum that shares ideas and industry insight?

This has me curious now, proprietors, what was the reasoning for creating this forum?

JJ, I posted a Wild Wild West halftime special for you over at We Want the Max. Hope you got down...

Funny, but I haven't seen any picks from you. Post (and document) your own plays, if you're so concerned about it.

Well, you just weren't around for the Golden Years of Internet Sports Gambling to take advantage of the Executive Club at Fezzik's Place. Shecky and Carlos and I were killing football and basketball in the name of entertainment. And I was just making it up as I went along. LOL.

And then Fezzik decided "Enough of this!," and showed me that he was the real deal with the FEZZDAQ, and I became a born-again Fezztian and believed there was something to this.

My experience here is typical Sharp fare: "We're all going to tell each other we're Sharp (and impress grateful casual readers), but we're not really going to share much more than common knowledge publicly." Is there a need for yet another site for collective Sharp reinforcement of self-esteem among each other.?

Obviously, the keys to the sports gambling universe are shared in PM's, if at all. I know that. David Copperfield ain't explaining his magic tricks, either. But he at least performs them onstage. Somebody here needs to get onstage rather than just tell the posters about his magic tricks.

The minute you start asking for Sharps to post even one play a day (or one play every two days, or three days or....), the brave, scholarly facade of Sharpness disintegrates and excuses abound. Documentation seems to be the hardest word. A courageous few will venture forward, but if they lose early, they will disappear.

You know I love you, and I'm just tweaking you. But there is a point behind the tweaking.

Jon, for God's sake. Your site is desolate. It has absolutely no content and no readers, and certainly no contributors.

Yeah, threaten me with banning.

Wha?!

So Jon. I'll tell you Wha?

There are more people out looking for Ameilia Earhardt who went missing 70 years ago then searching for your site.

Get a clue.

JJ: I can't envision under what circumstances we would ban you. It was not in any way meant as a threat.

So don't post this crap.

That didn't come out the way that I meant it. My apologies.

But when they find Jon's site it smells less.

So don't say that no one is contributing here. If there's anyone who's not contributing, it's you. Unless an endless array of sarcasm is considered content.

PS - If the site is so damn bad, then don't post here anymore. Please.

Too funny.

Don't you get it? It's "the endless array of sarcasm" that gets you upset enough to reply.

Sometimes we have to deflate anonymous Sharp posting greatness slowly.

Pssssssssssssssssss. I hear the air coming out now.
