Not sure where it's going, but +7.5 -130 at some place like BM would be an all in type play for me. Then again, I think Czech once tried to convince me that the 7 wasn't worth as much in low totaled games, which makes sense on one level, but doesn't on another. Maybe he can chime in. Still, I think it has to be worth the buy through. My guess is that the values of the 1, 2, 5, 8 and 9 type numbers go up in low totaled games while the value of the other single digit numbers remain constant (or near constant). Obiously the value of high numbers has to go down.

PC is of course correct- 3s are worth more in lower totals than higher and vice-versa for 7s.

Historically Sevens and Threes definitely are stronger and weaker depending on the total. I believe the Seven push rate should get bumped up 1% for very high totals and go down 1% for very low totals.

Same holds true for the Three but the opposite direction.

I plan to bet the Ravens, but i've been waiting to see if the game will hit 6 1/2. Doesn't look like it will, but of course a lot of money will be coming in tomorrow.

I'm suprised there has not been any movement.I suspect you will get the hook and hope so.

I never thought of that (7s being worth less in low totaled games), but its a very nice point and jives with my database. Using games lined between +8and -8 and looking at totals of 37 and lower and 44 and higher. here are the push rates for each number (first is 37 and lower, second is 44 and higher), lines are for the home team. The 3 goes way down, the 7 goes up (from low totaled to high totaled games)

-3 9.2% 8.8%
-4 3.3% 2.6%
-6 3.2% 1.7%
-7 3.7% 4.6%
3 9.6% 6.3%
4 2.6% 2.3%
6 2.1% 3.8%
7 3.9% 4.6%

Interesting. It makes sense, though I never thought about it (the depreciating value of the "7").

I joined last night after kelly's show and im already learning something , the value of the line in relation to the total. Thanks guys .

Please excuse the caps in this post as i always use them as my eye sight is not what it once was , and i can read it easier than the smaller letters. Getting old sucks , but is better than the alternative. Tommy b
