Most games go over by 10+ points. Wow. Any guesses on what the average line will be for the Wednesday card?

The only 2 teams left out of the card on Wednesday are DEN and SAC, both of which are solid Over teams. The average closing line will be an interesting barometer of how the market reacts to today's extreme results.
Average (CRIS) closing line for the past 10 games for each team has been 201.9 and the median result from those games has been 203.

Fezzik recently posted "Basic Strategy says two bad teams 'over' ping pong ball time of the year. PLayers have incentives to pad their stats, you don't guard me, I won't bother you wink wink," but another poster, Kruger, clarified "Basic strategy isn't always correct. Historically, two teams with a below 40% winning percentage playing each other in the month of April are 23-26 OU, 46.9%, since the start of the 2004 season. For those of you who want to go back further, since the beginning of the 1999 season, in the above-mentioned scenario, the OU is 46-45. 50.5%."

I'm shocked that Fezzik gives out theories for which he hasn't done even the simplest level of research for. (http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=36&threadid=185425&FTVAR_MSGDBTABLE=)
(Notice that his post got edited 7 minutes after my reply to tone down the rhetoric LOL)

This one wasn't as much fun as debunking Winkydonk's Eichelberger story, but Fezzik was lazy with this angle too:

And I had fun at his expense here:

For a short thread that one has a lot of comedy, including cracks at DanielSong, a Sesame Street picture from PC (if only he knew my nickname was really "Big Bird") and Chappy flaming himself with one of his ghost accounts.

I'm on an unexpected late-evening tilt after realizing Fezzik completely ignored that entire thread.

Ah the good old days. Almost makes me miss Mos Eyesly.
BTW, AntiYosh wasn't my ghost account. I believe it was my runner's ghost account :-)

Oh, I was scrolling through quickly and thought it was xYOSHx that flamed you. While searching quickly for xYOSHx posts I found this one:

I like the reference to Blue Marlin in 2008, they went under when, 2004 or so? Also a big LOL at BeverlyHillsBookie, my two favorite things about that book were 1) the fact that they ran their support out of a hotmail account before they got absorbed by BetMill, and 2) the fact that my buddy actually knew the guys in the pictures on their website. They had pictures of "Beverly Hills Police" posing with girls in bikinis and my buddy said "No, I know those guys, they're Manhattan Beach cops.

The average CRIS total currently stands at 204.3. Throw in a Den/Sac matchup lined around 215 and the average would be 205. Given the above facts it does seem that there is a bit of inflation in the lines tonight, possibly because of Monday's results. Whether or not it's justified is the 64K Question.

Historically since the 97-98 season, games with teams playing in their last game of the regular season have gone Under with a 140-171-7, 55% record.
(Note: games where both teams were playing their final game are counted twice)
