Well, if nothing else, this game will be scalpable before kick off, although Liverpool > Wigan midweek was the same and look what happened to that.

Anyway I am more than happy to stay with Chelsea for this game; they are simply the better side.

I don't have a good explanation for the sudden increase in their rate of goals conceded but it's something that can be resolved as it has resulted mainly from set-pieces - and corners, at that - rather than poor-play in general.

Thankfully, Liverpool aren't particularly effective from these situations and they are also in poor form at the moment so taking Chelsea with a quarter-goal start is a solid play for me.

Neither side has played a particularly tough set of games recently so to get Chelsea at better than pk in this situation is the way forward, imho.

I also had u2 goals in this game.

Shocking referee's decision (Lampard sending-off) cost me dearly in this match. Payback for Liverpool for last season's scam Chelsea penalty, it would seem.

In this day and age it is a joke that no 'booth review' or similar (seeing as play must have been stopped for fully three minutes before Lampard was dismissed) is applied for these sort of decisions.

Lampard's ban was, of course, completely rescinded but it's a bit too late for Chelsea in the scheme of things lol.

Looks like all of my Chelsea future bets are going up in smoke now as well although Man United appear over-priced at present to win the title.
