But why couldn't we middle PHI last night? I can't even remember the last time I've actually hit a big middle decision (and last night was BIG- for me, anyway, tonight is about the same but I like DEN so I prob won't middle it as much)

Big for me too, but ended up with DAL 2h, DAL 1q and PHI 3q which took some of the sting off. Also polished Philly winning by 1 at halftime. Ship me the vig lol.

You mean DAL winning by 1? Yeah books aren't very good at those conversions... PIT by 3-8 pls one time...

Call me crazy, but I don't understand the chart.

Let the number of teams in column A = x. Column B is the odds you are given by your book on either an x-team parlay or an x-team teaser.
Column C is how often each team you add to your leg has to hit in order to breakeven and Column D is that same percentage expressed in American Odds format.

Justin,
The chart tells you that if you bet a 5 team parlay at the M @ +2100, each leg must be a 53.9% play to breakeven--over many trials.
And 53.9% is the same as laying -117.
So if you play that particular 5 team parlay card at the M or at Jerry's you are effectively laying -117 in juice for each leg.
Alternatively, If you play a 3 team +180, 6 pt teaser each leg is equivalent to -244. So each leg needs to be at least a 70.9% play or greater for the teaser to breakeven--over many trials.

LOL. BM has a sweet strategy with those teasers. They go like 1-5, 1-6, 1-7 every week and still beat me.
